Whaling is a Lack of Imagination is a collection of photographs of a dead humpback whale taken in an Icelandic whale killing station by J.F. Thorsteinsson. The project wants to draw attention to the meaninglessness of the continuous whale killings in Iceland.

An interesting fact is that both the artist behind the video J.F.Thorsteinsson/The Goecco Eco Project and the band Sigurros who made the music, fight for the nature of Iceland and both artists were slaughtered brutally by the Icelandic Tax Authority, just like Odd Nerdrum in Norway.
